Cookie Policy
SONARmetrics currently uses essential authentication, security, workspace, and preference storage. The public website does not intentionally use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small values stored by a browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, keep preferences on a device. They can be necessary for secure sign-in, navigation, and remembering choices.
2. Storage used by SONARmetrics
| Name or category | Purpose | Typical duration | Type |
|---|---|---|---|
sb-…-auth-token | Maintains the authenticated Supabase session and its refresh state. | Session or the lifetime encoded in the authentication token; refreshed while signed in. | Strictly necessary |
cod_org_id | Remembers the currently selected organization without combining organization data. | Up to 1 year. | Strictly necessary |
cod_workspace | Temporarily caches onboarding or workspace state to route the user safely. | Up to 5 minutes. | Strictly necessary |
cod_platform_view_org_id | Maintains an explicitly authorized platform-support organization view. | Up to 8 hours. | Strictly necessary / privileged users only |
| Local preferences | Remembers theme, table, navigation, and reporting-range preferences on the current device. | Until changed or cleared in the browser. | Functional |
| Security and infrastructure | May be set temporarily by hosting or authentication providers to prevent abuse and deliver requests securely. | Session or the security challenge lifetime. | Strictly necessary |
3. Public website and consent
The public pages at sonarmetrics.io do not intentionally set analytics, behavioral-advertising, or social-media tracking cookies. Links to external providers do not load those providers’ tracking scripts merely by being displayed. Because the current site uses only storage needed to provide, secure, or remember the service, no non-essential cookie consent banner is shown. If non-essential technology is introduced, it will remain disabled until the required choice is obtained.
4. Managing storage
You can block or delete cookies through browser settings. Blocking essential cookies will prevent sign-in, organization selection, and protected application features from working correctly. Signing out clears the active authentication session; additional local preferences can be removed using the browser’s site-data controls.
5. Future changes
If SONARmetrics introduces non-essential analytics or advertising storage, this policy and the consent experience will be updated before those technologies are activated where consent is required. Questions can be sent to privacy@sonarmetrics.io.
